The massaman curry with smoked lamb shoulder and peanuts was scrumptious. Washing it down with a whiskey and passionfruit Life of Luxury cocktail made the whole experience something to write home about.

Item has a friendly, modern vibe with creative decor and plenty of space for you and your friends to hang out for an afternoon or evening.

The best part: all the tiki drinks are served in traditional mugs.

2. Hat Yai

Hat Yai can provide you with a delicious meal in East Portland or the Concordia and Alberta neighborhoods.

You have a choice between two locations for this trendy Thai pit stop.

Hat Yai is a favorite restaurant because of the delicious food, creative drinks, the online one that’s easy to navigate, and the outdoor seating you can find at both locations.

Try one of the Hat Yai specialties when visiting. It might interest you that Oxtail Soup is divine and refreshing, with a rich broth, lemongrass, tomato, onions, and lime.

The day was well-spent with good food and a side of Roti.

A creative little Thai joint that’s hip, trendy, and inventive in everything they do can be found on North Mississippi Avenue, right in the heart of the Boise neighborhood.

The interior is decorated in an unusual and eclectic style. The dishes are traditional Thai fare with a unique twist. It’s one of the more trendy places to eat in the area.

Be prepared for a multi-course meal when you visit Mee-Sen Thai Eatery. You must try multiple things.

If you’re in the mood for a salad, the Somtum Thai is delicious. Begin with the Fried Wonton, and add the Crab Wonton if desired.

If not, proceed to the Tom Yum soup with squid. Continue with View Grob Pad Thai and Jasmine tea.

One of the most flavorful meals I’ve ever had is their slow-cooked beef with veal broth, vegetables, and excellent seasonings.

The Portland Goose Hollow Foothills League district has plenty to see and do. You can see the Goose Hollow Inn, go to Providence Park, visit a local brewery, and eat at Kinara Thai!

That last option appeals to me the most. Kinara Thai serves an incredible menu of authentic Thai dishes such as Khao Klong and Pad Prik King.

The Ginger and Crimini Mushrooms are my favorites. It comes with your choice of meat and fresh ginger, a winning flavor combination.

If you’re in the mood for a curry, try the Duck Curry with Thai basil and pineapple.

A charming little Thai cafe sits in the middle of the Portland shopping center, somewhere around Argay Terrace, right off Sandy Boulevard.

Sa Bai has no frills; it simply serves Thai food prepared correctly. Local favorites like Fresh Salad Rolls, Egg Rolls, and Pot Stickers are among the traditional menu items.

My favorite delicacy was the Steamed Dumplings. Sa Bai prepares a tasty Thai meal that feels as authentic as it gets.

Those stir-fried wide rice noodles are incredible. They make delicious Tom Yum soup, but if you go for dinner, I suggest the Kua Kai noodles.

That’s right: you can find any vegan restaurant in Portland, including Thai food. Kati Portland serves authentic Thai food that is entirely vegan in a charming, rustic-style restaurant.

I ordered the special house salad and the Sukho Thai Noodle Soup. It was flavorful and restorative in all the right ways.

I suggest you try Vegan Thai Iced Tea with organic coconut milk to wash it down. Every sip was a wonderful experience.

Paadee is an elevated Thai restaurant that curates unique experiences for its customers through traditional Thai cuisine.

The atmosphere is all about class and sophistication. They even have a cocktail bar to complement their innovative food.

I tried the Dungeness Crab Fried Rice with scallions and prik nahm plaa. It was gluten-free and delicious.

I had the Pandan Cake, a lime leaf and lemongrass mousse with lime curd and jasmine meringue for dessert.

Not to mention the nearby Freakybuttrue Peculiarium and Museum, which is well worth a quick visit. When you first visit Red Online, I recommend you try their Pa Nang Curry or Volcano Beef.

Both are neighborhood favorites, and both are equally delicious. If you’re looking for an appetizer, their Shrimp Tempura is perfectly fried with homemade dressing.

There are several locations where you can sample Thai Bloom cuisine, but I recommend stopping by the one on Northwest 23rd Avenue.

It’s more laid back, has sidewalk seating, and is located in an interesting neighborhood. As you approach Northwest Portland, more green spaces and forested areas appear.

When it comes to the outdoors, the city has a lot to offer, and it’s worth checking it all out when you visit. Thai Bloom! brings you closer to this area of town and could be an excellent place to rest after a long hike.

When you stop, I recommend the Seafood Cream Cheese Wontons and the Crab Pad Thai, both hearty and filling classics.
