Danielle Breezy Career: How it All Started

Danielle Breezy’s career began with a decision she made back in eighth grade. While in middle school, she recalled that a local tv meteorologist visited her school to talk about the weather.

That singular visit sparked her interest in becoming a meteorologist. To make her dream come through, she went to Cornel University and studied atmospheric science.

In October 2006, Danielle landed her first weathercaster job at WBOC-TV in Salisbury. She left WBOC-TV in 2009 for Sinclair Broadcast Group, the second-largest television station operator in the United States by the number of stations.

However, after about two years, she left Sinclair for CW33 in Dallas. With this opportunity, she hosted the CW33 Eye-Opener program in Dallas, Houston, Miami, Portland, and Philadelphia. Unfortunately, she worked there for just one year.

Danielle Breezy left the CW33 after just over a year of working there. For about three months in 2013, Danielle also served as a freelance meteorologist for Fox Television.

She also worked at WCVB Heart Television in Boston as a weather forecaster in April 2013, giving weather updates at 5 AM, 7 AM, and 9 AM. Breezy left WCVB in July 2016 after more than three years of employment. In July 2016, Danielle Breezy joined News 2 as Chief Meteorologist.

Danielle Breezy also got herself the highest seal a meteorologist can have, the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM).

She’s currently the chief meteorologist at WKRN, Nashville. This allowed her to work as a meteorologist, reporter, and anchor for the weather news.

In her career, Daniele has worked in Salisbury, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Boston, and Nashville.
