How He Young Dolph Die?

Attempts to shoot him outside a Los Angeles retail store in October 2017 were foiled after he got into an argument with Yo Gotti, another Memphis rapper.  On November 17, the news of his death shook the entire music industry. 

The rapper was killed in front of a cookie shop in his hometown of Memphis.  Around 1 p.m., he was on his way to buy cookies for his mother when a gunman approached and shot him through the window.

Memphis police released footage of the incident outside the cookie shop.  His attackers wore black and navy hoodies, gray sweatpants, and surgical masks that covered their faces.  The suspects opened fire on Dolph with an AK-47 assault rifle and a handgun.

The rapper was rushed to the hospital, where he died of his injuries two weeks after the incident.  The Memphis Police Department issued a statement about the incident, calling it a “senseless tragedy.”  He was 36 years old and is survived by his long-term partner and two children.

He was a big spender, as evidenced by the thieves who got away when his Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon was robbed while he was dining with friends at a restaurant.
